Are Private Music Lessons The Right Choice For You?

Private Music Lessons are offered on piano, violin, viola and cello. These private individual lessons are ideal as they are scheduled one on one with a teacher who is specialist on the instrument chosen. Lessons generally meet once weekly, although students can ask to meet twice each week. Lessons are scheduled to meet 44 weeks out of the year. Private music lessons meet for 30 minutes, 45 minutes or one hour depending on age and level of the student and the schedule for the private lessons is more flexible. Students who participate in exams are also encouraged to take theory class for their level. Students may participate in additional music performances, evaluations and competitions when they are ready. Students can register for private music lessons at any time during the year as space permits.
